Viewguard larger sized rolling shutters are fabricated only by using recommended profile selected on the based on opening size. Profile with greater depth are designed to provide strength to the rolling shutter and enhanced protection against high pressure wind. Profile VG120 - 120mm height and 25mm Depth having greater strength due to deeper curves compared to old VG78 profile. Due to dimensions of profile it becomes wind resistant profile. The wind load class would be 2 as per EN12424 for these rolling shutters and higher wind load resistant are also possible with design that alleviates excessive deflections. Each rolling shutter is designed after considering geographical parameters to ensure required wind resistant for various opening sizes.
